Nominating a Student

Guidance counselors, coaches, parents and mentors may all nominate a student they feel embodies the spirit of a MaxPreps Semper Fidelis Athlete of the Month HERE.
If you are a Junior in High School that plays a competitive sport, maintains a 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent, participates in community service, and holds a leadership position, you may nominate yourself HERE.

Application Help

In order to apply for the MaxPreps Semper Fidelis Athlete of the Month, the online application must be received in its entirety on or before January 12, 2020.


What do MaxPreps Semper Fidelis Athletes of the Month earn?

Winners will receive an awards presentation in their hometown among their family and friends and a feature video on the Semper Fidelis Athlete of the Month online hub (here). They will also have the chance to receive an all-expenses paid trip for themselves and a mentor of their choice to attend the exclusive Battles Won Academy as part of the Semper Fidelis All-American Program.

Why did I receive an email invitation for this program?

If you received an invitation to apply for a the MaxPreps Semper Fidelis Athlete of the Month, or to supply information related to a student’s application it is because the individual named in the email has referred you and provided your name and email address.

How many students will be selected as Athletes of the Month?

1 male and 1 female student athlete will be selected each month during the school year (September - May).

Is there an age limit for nomination?

At this time, the program is reserved for Juniors in High School only.

Will I be obligated to pursue enlistment in the U.S. Marine Corps after participating in this program?

You will not be obligated to pursue enlistment upon the completion of this program.
